Launched in 2020, Margn is the manifestation of a discernible vocabulary, meticulously chalked out by founders Ranjit Yadav and Saurabh Maurya. Graduates of National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru, they design unorthodox menswear featuring experimental construction and a subdued colour palette. The collections draw inspiration from anatomical forms and absurdist notions, represented by distortion and symbolism.

Layers of handcrafted garments teeter between the sculptural enveloping of an exoskeleton, and unconstrained forms evoking emotional transmission. The result is a proposition of an uncomplicated but entirely thoughtful workwear wardrobe: merino wool sweaters, ikat vests, trans seasonal layers and some pieces made with upcycled dead-stock.
